I have absolutely zero ideas for what to do with this post so I'm just going to do another quiz that I found online.
What is Your Current Obsession?
I'm totally obsessed with really bright blue, yellow and pink knitted hats and scarves at the moment (we're entering winter here in Australia). I'm also really loving Ellen Von Unwerth's photographs (though I've loved them for a while). Oh, and one more, I'm also totally mesmerised by the music of Glass Candy.
What Do You See Outside Your Window?
Well it's actually dark at the moment, but if it were light I would see a large tree, my front lawn, the road and the house across from us.
Do You Nap A lot?
I'm usually at school so I don't have time but recently I've been so tired lately that I've had to.
Who was the Last Person You Hugged?
Um...I'm not entirely sure, my friend Courtney, I think.
What Animal Would You Be?
An owl, they're my favourites.
What's for Dinner?
I had mashed potato, mixed boiled vegetables and a vegetarian patty.
What was the Last Thing You Bought?
I paid for pizza when my friends and I ordered it.
What are You Listening to Right Now?
The Times, They Are A-Changin' - Bob Dylan
What is Your Favorite Weather?
Cold and rainy weather!!
What's on Your Bedside Table?
Umm...make-up, hairties and bobby-pins, Animal Farm, a glass of water, a hairbrush, a pair of scissors and some easter eggs.
If You Could Have a House Totally Paid for, Full Furnished, and Anywhere in the World Where Would You Want It to Be?
In London, it's my dream to move there.
Where are You Typing from Right Now?
My house's study. Unfortunately, Obsidian Blackbird McNight (my computer) is incredibly old and slow and is also not a laptop.
What Would You Like to Have in Your Hands Right Now?
Completed assignments (the ones that I haven't started yet, *sigh*).
What Would You Like to Get Rid of?
Said assignments and a few kilos.
If You Could Go Anywhere in the World for the Next Hour Where Would You Go?
New York to shop.
What Did You Want to Be When You Grew Up as a Child?
A lawyer.
What Posters/Pictures Do You Have on Your Bedroom Wall?
There are posters of heaps of bands and movies that I think are cool. Plus a huge amount of pics of my friends and I:)
What is Your Plan for Tomorrow?
Wake up and then work, work, work, work, do my washing, work, work and work.
What Should Everyone Have?
Love.
I might just do a quick note about my day here. I went to my friend's house so early (8:00!!) but when we got there she was all ready with chocolate presents and croissants to thank us for getting there that early. So we filmed what we had to film, it was mostly uneventful.
[Side Note: the basic outline of this story is that it's set in the forties and there is an aging chorus girl named Veronica who desperately covets everything that the lead, Ingrid, has. Ingrid is beautiful, young, talented and sleeping with the dashing director of the dance troupe, Francois. Veronica is unpopular with the other chorus girls, Heidi, Amy and Lucy (me!), believing she is above them whereas Ingrid is kind, modest and therefore very popular. At a party to celebrate opening night, and Ingrid's success, during a conversation where she is innocently offering Veronica advice on how to better her performance, Veronica is overcome and pushes Ingrid down the stairs. It is unclear whether Ingrid has been killed or merely injured, however, Veronica has assumed the lead. It's a noir film, all black and white, and oh-so dramatic!]
I had to rush at the end of the day because I was taking my friend to her band performance and we made it right on time. I then went to go shopping with my mother (uneventful, no good finds) and we caught up with my two sisters for lunch. We went to this pub where I have a particular history. I have a massive grudge against one of the waiters for taking away my chips when I was distracted for a moment. I ordered chips again this time and unfortunately the same man was my waiter. It was hilarious when he took everyone elses' plates away before he even politely asked me if he may take my plate. It was also a bit awkward because I knew he remembered me.
My sister is studying to become a teacher and she is going on prac soon (to a horribly bogan state school, the poor thing). My other sister and I had a hard time convincing her that it was TOTALLY inappropriate to wear jeans and a revealing t-shirt and an even worse time informing her that no, she couldn't wear her ugg boots. She needs to gain the respect of these kids even though she's only like a year or two older than them and dressing her age is not going to help in the slightest.
Anyway, I don't have anything else of the mildest interest to report, so I might leave it there.
xoxo,
Megan
